Barb Schwarzentraub is the Director and Divisional Chief Financial Officer of Global Information Services at Caterpillar, Inc., where she has worked for 28 years. She is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a BS in Accounting and an MBA. She earned an Executive Scholar Certificate from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and completed a joint, year-long Caterpillar- Stanford University program, Powering the Future. She also completed Singularity University’s innovation program for executives.
During her time at Caterpillar, Barb has worked across numerous divisions, international borders, economic conditions and functions, gaining an outstanding breadth of experience. With external and internal changes during her tenure, Barb’s team has retained consistent focus on delivery and profitability throughout economic cycles. Her adept knowledge of the supply chain and end to end impacts has served her career well as she has a passion for developing people and leading transformative change.
Barb has served on numerous boards since 2008 including the Salvation Army Advisory Board. She enjoys traveling, learning to sail and riding American Saddlebred horses.
